Hertz in Amersfoort
Amersfoort is located in the central Netherlands in the region of Utrecht. The town's wealth was built on the brewing and weaving industries in the 16th century and, as a result, you'll find many grand merchants' houses that are still very well preserved today. The artist Piet Mondriaan was born in Amersfoort in 1872 and The Mondriaan House has an accurate recreation of his Paris studio, as well as many paintings by other artists who were influenced by his style.
