Hertz in Ibiza
Ibiza is an island in the western Mediterranean. It's one of the Balearic Island, an archipelago that belongs to Spain. If you rent a car on Ibiza you'll find that it's also the name of the main settlement on the island. Ibiza Town is the capital and easily the biggest place and is internationally renowned for its dance music scene nightlife. With a rental car you can, of course, explore the Town, and the whole island, as it's only 30 miles by 12 miles. The coast is a sequence of pretty sandy coves while inland there are large swathes of arid undeveloped land.
The island of Ibiza has become a very fashionable destination among young travellers. You'll find plenty of large clubs featuring big-name DJs. If you have a rental car you can get around the hotspots in Ibiza Town and those further afield too. The second city, Sant Antoni, has a culture aplenty too, but away from the dance music, Ibiza's coast is generally quiet and unspoilt. The best beaches are, generally, the hardest to find. Meanwhile explore the inland landscapes too to discover sleepy villages of white-washed houses among olive groves and fruit orchards.
